Inaugural Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl
Presented by JuniorRank Sports in partnership with the United States Marine Corps (USMC), the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl will showcase 100 of the nation’s elite high school football players in a traditional East versus West gridiron matchup. On Tuesday, January 3 the future stars of college football who are headed to some of the most prestigious and successful football programs in the country will take to the turf inside Chase Field (home of the Arizona Diamondbacks) with the opportunity to prove to the world why they have been donned ‘the best.’ Tickets are free to the public with gates opening at 2 p.m. The game will also air live on CBS Sports Network at 4 p.m. MST, allowing the entire country to watch the nation’s most electrifying athletes in action.
Led by one of the most respected talent evaluators, Tom Lemming, the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl Selection Committee handpicked each individual player. While the Semper Fidelis Bowl attracts top high school football talent, it stands out from other bowls through an embodiment of core values, including athletic excellence, high academic performance and character development. Semper Fidelis Bowl athletes must strive to be well-rounded individuals and not just athletic talents, while reflecting the Marine Corps values of honor, courage and commitment.
On Jan. 2 JuniorRank and the USMC have also invited the top 300 juniors from around the country to compete in the Proving Ground National Combine and 120 standout athletes’ grades 6-8 to the Junior Academic All-American Bowl.
The weekend of events promise to be an exciting and entertaining display of the best amateur athletic talent the country can offer. Visit www.semperfidelisbowl.com for additional information.
