Queen & Court
Each fall the Fiesta Bowl crowns the Queen and her Court. A scholarship opportunity of a lifetime, the Queen & Court serve as spokespersons for the Fiesta Bowl Festival of College Football representing the Board of Directors, Committee Members, volunteers, staff and sponsors.
Court members annually attend community honored treasures such as the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, Insight Bowl, Fort McDowell Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona Fiesta Bowl National Band Championship presented by University of Phoenix, Tostitos Fiesta Bowl Brings You College Football’s Biggest Party and various other Fiesta Bowl events.
The 2008-2009 Fiesta Bowl Court was announced on Thursday, October 2, 2008. Please tune into 12 News Arizona Midday at 1:00 p.m. the week of October 20 to watch interviews with the four Court members. Voting for the Queen will take place on the Fiesta Bowl website beginning Friday, October 24, culminating on Friday, October 31 at 5:00 p.m. MST. The Queen will be announced on the evening of Wednesday, November 5, during a special, invitation only coronation.
