Q: Who can apply for this scholarship program?
A: The scholarship program is open to all females who have not been married nor have any children, are at least 19 years of age but have not reached the age of 23 and will not graduate prior to May 2011. Each contestant must be enrolled, currently and during the 2010 calendar year, as a full-time student taking a minimum of 12 academic hours at one Arizona college or university, be in good standing at that institution and not on scholastic probation, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 cumulative. The scholarship is open to all females meeting the requirements, regardless of race, religion or creed.
Q: Do I have to be a full-time student?
A: Yes. Each contestant must be enrolled, currently and during the 2010 calendar year, as a full-time student taking a minimum of 12 academic hours at one Arizona college or university.
Q: What is the time commitment like?
A: Applicants will be required to attend several events beginning in September through January. The majority of all Court activities will take place beginning the last week of December through the first two weeks in January.
Q: How many court members are selected each year?
A: Each year, one (1) Queen and three (3) Court members are crowned.
Q: How are the Queen and Court selected?
A: Judging is based on scholastic achievement, poise, community involvement, personality, an interview and
submitted essay.
Q: When will the Queen be announced?
A: The 2010-2011 Queen will be crowned on the evening of Wednesday, October 6, 2010.

Q: What is needed to apply?
A: A completed application, at least one (1) letter of recommendation, a one (1) page typed essay and an official, unopened transcript.

A: Applications are due no later than Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 5:00 p.m.
