Fiesta Bowl Selects 42nd Annual Fiesta Bowl Court presented by Dillard's

Scottsdale, Ariz. – From a field of nearly 200 applicants, the Fiesta Bowl has chosen seven young women to serve as the 42nd Annual Fiesta Bowl Court presented by Dillard’s.
Court members are current students at Arizona colleges who display the highest academic standards, community engagement and personal grace. The women will serve as official representatives of the Fiesta Bowl for the 2012-13 season. One will be crowned Fiesta Bowl Queen on Friday, October 19, 2012.
After reviewing this year’s Queen and Court applicants, the selection committee elected to expand the court from four to seven members. The Fiesta Bowl is pleased to be able to provide scholarships for more deserving students, and reviews the number of court members annually.
This year’s Fiesta Bowl Court:

- Savanna Fletcher from the University of Arizona
- Devin Gregory from the University of Arizona
- Kristell Millan from Arizona State University
- Sarah Phillipe from the University of Arizona
- Chelsea Wold from the University of Arizona
Dajana Zlaticanin from GateWay Community College
The Court will participate in beloved community events presented by the organization and make appearances at the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl and Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.

2012 Court Biographies:
Lauren Erdelyi, 21, is a senior at the University of Arizona majoring in psychology and conservation biology with a minor in Spanish. She is a member of Chi Omega Sorority, the Arizona Ambassadors Honorary, and the Blue Key National Honor Society. Christina currently works as a Student Coordinator in the Office of Admissions and the Office of Student Affairs at U of A and is a preceptor for a field botany course. Erdelyi is from Tucson and attended Atascadero High School.
Savanna Fletcher, 19, is a sophomore at the University of Arizona majoring in computer science with a minor in criminal justice. She is a member of ZonaZoo Crew, a student government group, and UA Best, a physical fitness and stunting club. Savanna also served as a mentor for middle school students through the SOAR program in the subjects of math and science, and volunteers as an assistant coach for the Tucson Cheer Academy. Fletcher currently resides in Tucson, but is originally from Sierra Vista where she attended Buena High School.
Devin Gregory, 22, is a senior at the University of Arizona majoring in political science with minors in leadership studies & practices and adolescents, community & education. She is president of the Bobcats Senior Honorary, and vice president of Internal Affairs of the Panhellenic Council. Devin is a classroom volunteer at Sahuaro High School and a volunteer fundraiser for the Make a Wish Foundation and New Beginnings. Gregory is from Tucson and attended Sahuaro High School.
Kristell Millan, 22, is a senior at Arizona State University majoring in finance and global politics. She is a member of the Barrett Honors College, Hispanic Business Students Association and the Pat Tillman-Leadership Through Action program. Kristell also mentors youth on educational attainment by facilitating monthly personal development workshops and works as an undergraduate student assistant for the American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education. Millan currently resides in Scottsdale and attended Coronado High School.
Sarah Philippe, 22, is a senior at the University of Arizona majoring in business management. She is the Executive Director for Up ‘til Dawn in support of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and the treasurer for the Black n Blue Hip Hop Dance Team. Sarah is also the formal recruitment chair for the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, and a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House. Philippe currently resides in Tucson, but is originally from Scottsdale and attended Horizon High School.
Chelsea Wold, 22, is a senior at the University of Arizona pursuing a dual degree in Psychology and Journalism. She is a member of Chi Omega Sorority, Alpha Phi Omega Community Service Fraternity and Phi Alpha Delta: Pre-Law Fraternity. Chelsea currently serves as an intern for Arizona Public Media, and as a Wildcast Field Reporter for University of Arizona Television. Wold currently resides in Tucson, but is originally from Phoenix where she attended Desert Vista High School.
Dajana Zlaticanin, 19, is a sophomore at GateWay Community College majoring in political science. She currently serves as president of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society and director of public relations for the World Explorer’s Club. Dajana is also a member of the Honors Program and has attended the Global Leadership Retreat for Community Colleges. Dajana currently resides in Tempe, but is originally from Montenegro in southeastern Europe.
