Scottsdale, Ariz. – Rob Rutila of Scottsdale walked away from the 29th Annual Wells Fargo Fiesta Bowl Hole-in-One tournament with the closest shot, a 10-day cruise for two courtesy of Holland America and two round-trip airfare tickets on US Airways.

Rutila’s shot was the closest of the 34 golfers to the 150-yard pin at 3-feet-9 5/8-inches. In total there were 39 shots taken and three grand prizes awarded.

No one won a million this year, but the closest three golfers had their choice of grand prizes, including the cruise and airfare tickets Rutila chose from Holland America and US Airways, a resort vacation for two on Sears Vacations with two round-trip airfare tickets on US Airways and a one-year membership at the Wigwam Golf Club or Arizona Biltmore Golf Club and a full set of PING clubs with a fitted bag.

Finals teed off at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 10 when contestants aimed Dixon Golf balls at the million-dollar hole, which was flanked by two $50,000 holes.

Ryan Barmore of Chandler took second place after landing his best shot at 8-feet-2 7/8-inches. And the final grand prize winner was David Kahn of Phoenix with a 12-feet-1 1/8-inches shot.

From Thursday, October 31-Saturday, November 10, thousands of golfers of various skill levels took aim for a hole-in-one on a 120-to-130-yard hole at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club. The top finishers each day were awarded a fabulous daily prize, such as PING irons, golf bags, complimentary foursomes to some of the Valley's best golf courses or gift certificates to some of Arizona's finest restaurants.

Daily rounds ran from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. through Saturday, November 9 and 9 a.m.-noon on Sunday, November 11.

A portion of the proceeds from every shot—the shanks and the aces—go to Fiesta Bowl Charities, which benefits valuable organizations that make a difference across Arizona. The United Food Bank also benefitted from a promotion that ran throughout the event allowing participants to bring in two canned food items in exchange for a 2-for-1 deal on bags of golf balls. The 2-for-1 deal was extended to golfers who donated a dozen golf balls to Dixon Golf to be recycled.
