Tostitos Fiesta Bowl

Parking Lot Guidelines

Parking lots open at 12:30 p.m. No vehicles will be admitted earlier. Vehicles will not be allowed to arrive the evening before and park overnight. Parking lots close one hour after the game. Tailgating activities are not allowed to resume following the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.

Fans are asked to follow the direction of the parking staff to quickly park their vehicle. Visit fiestabowl.org for a parking map with directions for the recommended route to your designated pass location. Vehicles that do not park in a location instructed by parking staff are subject to tow. Fans who wish to park next to friends must arrive at the same time. Parking spots cannot be reserved nor saved for fans arriving at a later time. Golf carts, Segways, skateboards, scooters and other non-licensed motorized vehicles are not permitted to be operated within the parking lots. Portable public address systems are not permitted in the parking lots. Sound systems inside vehicles cannot be played at an excessive volume as determined by parking lot or security staff.

Advertising goods or services is not permitted in the parking lots. Vehicles with exterior advertising can be stopped from entering even with a valid parking pass. Hanging commercial signage on vehicles, tents or by other means also is not permitted.

The parking lots are patrolled by security staff and local law enforcement officers. All fans should enjoy their tailgating experience in a responsible fashion. The Fiesta Bowl Code of Conduct will be enforced throughout all parking areas. Parking for the Fiesta Bowl is at your own risk. Neither the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl nor University of Phoenix Stadium is responsible for any damaged or stolen property.

Parking Passes

A parking pass is required for every vehicle parking in the lots surrounding the stadium. The Fiesta Bowl strongly encourages fans to purchase a parking pass in advance to ease the traffic and parking experience. Parking at the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl is $30 per vehicle. A parking pass is valid for one (1) space only. Trailers of any kind are not permitted inside any parking area. Vehicles taking more than one parking space or parked incorrectly will be subject to tow. All fees associated with the removal and impounding of the vehicle will be the responsibility of the owner. All vehicles, including motorcycles, must have a valid parking pass to access the parking lots. Parking passes must be picked up by January 1, 2012 at the Fiesta Bowl Ticket Office in Scottsdale.

Buses/RVs/Limos

If you are arriving by bus, RV or limousine you must purchase a parking pass before December 31, 2011. Bus parking is $250. RV parking is $150. Limousine parking is $120.

Disabled Parking

All parking lots have assigned disabled parking spots. Vehicles must have a state-issued disabled hang tag or license plate and valid parking pass to enter these parking areas. Please contact the Fiesta Bowl Ticket Office at (480) 350–0911 or (800) 635–5748 for more information.

Neighborhood Parking

Event parking is limited to approved lots. The City of Glendale prohibits parking on residential streets and it is unlawful for homeowners in Glendale to charge for parking on their property. Parking is also prohibited in undesignated areas. Please be respectful of the residents and businesses around the stadium. Please be aware the City of Glendale enforces all traffic laws and ordinances. Glendale police will not allow event traffic to reach the stadium through local neighborhoods. Please only use arterial streets.

Additional Parking

If you are unable to purchase a parking pass for parking contiguous to the stadium prior to game day, there will be limited paid parking available at the Brown and Blue lots for $30. Shuttles will run from the Brown Lot to the stadium from 4:30 p.m. until one hour after the game. The price of parking in the Brown Lot includes the shuttle ride to and from the stadium. Please visit www.fiestabowl.org for off-site paid parking lot locations. Alcoholic beverages and tailgating are not permitted in the Brown Lot.

Children

Children ages 2 and under do not need a ticket; however, they must sit on a parent’s lap. Lap passes are not required. Children ages 3 and older need their own ticket in order to enter the stadium.

Disabled Seating

Disabled seating is located on all three concourses, including all lofts. All levels can be accessed by elevators located in proximity to the five stadium entrances. One power outlet is available at each disabled seating platform for the use of guests with electric wheelchairs and other medical equipment. If you need to exchange your current ticket for a disabled seat, please contact the Fiesta Bowl Ticket Office at your earliest convenience.

Lost/Stolen Tickets

If your ticket has been lost or stolen, please contact the Fiesta Bowl Ticket Office at (480) 350–0911 or (800) 635–5748 as soon as possible and a duplicate pass will be issued. The cost of replacing a lost ticket is face value of the ticket. The duplicate pass you are issued will supersede the original. In the event of a stolen ticket in which you can provide a police report, you will not be charged for the replacement. Should original tickets be found, they may be returned to the Fiesta Bowl Ticket Office within two weeks following the game for a full refund.

Ticket Office Information

The Fiesta Bowl Ticket Office is located at 7135 East Camelback Road #190 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Tickets may be picked up at this location until Sunday, January 1, 2012. The Fiesta Bowl Ticket Office moves to the University of Phoenix Stadium box office on game day only, January 2, 2012.

Ticket Resale/Scalping

The resale of event tickets, regardless of price, is prohibited in the City of Glendale as well as the stadium and throughout the parking lots. Fans who purchase tickets from someone other than the Fiesta Bowl do so at their own risk because those tickets could be counterfeit. The Fiesta Bowl is not responsible for and will not provide a replacement or refund of any kind for tickets purchased through a secondary ticket provider.

Will Call

Will Call will be open from 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday at the Fiesta Bowl Ticket Office in Scottsdale. Contact the Fiesta Bowl Ticket Office for weekend/holiday hours. Items purchased over the phone or online within 10 days of the event date automatically will be placed in Will Call. Items purchased over the phone or online will be placed at Will Call two days after the purchase. Guests picking up their tickets from Will Call on game day must go to the main box office located on the northeast side of the stadium near Gate 2 beginning at 12:30 p.m. NCAA-designated player Will Call will be located south of the West Club entrance (visiting team) and north of Gate 3 (home team). Player Will Call opens at 4 p.m. Team Will Call will be located at the main ticket office near Gate 2. A photo identification card that corresponds with the purchaser’s name and credit card used to purchase the tickets are required when picking up Will Call items. The ticket office closes at halftime of the game.

Please note: Player/team Will Call is operated by the participating universities, not the Fiesta Bowl. All questions and complaints regarding player/team Will Call should be directed toward the participating universities.

Will Call for College Football’s Biggest Party and APS Stadium Club is located at the ticket tent at the main entrance of the parties. All game tickets will remain at the main ticket office located near Gate 2.

Alcohol

Staff members at University of Phoenix Stadium strongly encourage all fans to exercise responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages. Fans should be aware of the following policies during the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.

• Any fan who shows signs of impairment and/or intoxication will not be allowed to enter or will be removed from University of Phoenix Stadium and subject to arrest.

• No alcoholic beverages can be brought inside the stadium. Any attempt to bring alcohol inside the stadium or possession of an alcoholic beverage not purchased from the University of Phoenix Stadium concessionaire may result in ejection.

• State of Arizona law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21. All fans should be prepared to show proper identification if requested by the concessionaire staff member.

• Fans providing alcoholic beverages to persons under 21 years of age will be ejected from the stadium and subject to arrest.

• Concessionaire staff members reserve the right to deny service to fans who show signs of impairment and/or intoxication.

• Fans possessing alcohol who do not have proper identification when requested by a concessionaire or security staff member may be ejected.

• A maximum of two alcoholic beverages or 32 ounces of beer will be sold per person per transaction.

• Alcohol sales cease at the beginning of the third quarter.

Stadium management reserves the right to change these policies and procedures at any time without prior notice to fans.

Assisted Listening Devices

Assisted Listening Devices are available and can be checked out at the guest services locations in the stadium. A valid driver’s license or other form of identification is required.

ATMs

ATMs are located on the main concourse at sections 104 & 123, club concourse at sections 216 & 233 and the terrace concourse at sections 416 & 448 along with additional portable ATMs throughout the stadium. ATMs also are located in the pre-game parties surrounding the stadium.

Automobile Assistance/AAA Arizona

Automobile assistance is available in the parking lots surrounding University of Phoenix Stadium by AAA Arizona, the official towing partner of the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. Please contact a parking attendant for assistance.

Bicycle Parking

Fans who choose to ride a non-motorized bicycle to the stadium will be able to use the bike rack located outside Gate 2. The Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and University of Phoenix Stadium are not responsible for damage or theft of bikes.

Code of Conduct

Fans wearing clothing deemed obscene or indecent will not be allowed entry inside the stadium and are subject to ejection. Foul or abusive language and obscene gestures is not tolerated. Fighting, taunting or threatening remarks or gestures are not tolerated. Intoxication or other signs of impairment related to any type of illegal drug or excessive alcohol consumption are not tolerated. Excessive standing in seating areas that blocks the view of other fans is not tolerated. Other actions that cause a disruption and hinder the enjoyment of the game for fans per the judgment of stadium staff or security is not tolerated.

Concessions

Rojo Hospitality Group is the exclusive food service provider at University of Phoenix Stadium. Fans may obtain a concession stand guide at any of the Guest Service offices.

Credit Card Policies

The concession stands and merchandise locations accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.

Designated Driver “Good Sport” Program

Fans over the age of 21 may sign up at a Guest Services location to be a designated driver. To show appreciation for their dedication to get friends and family home safely, Budweiser/Hensley rewards all designated drivers with a coupon for one complimentary non-alcoholic beer.

Disabled Cart Services

There will be a courtesy disabled cart service from the disabled parking areas outside the stadium. These carts are for disabled fans and one of their companions only. The carts only will take fans to the closest entrance. The cart service is available beginning at 4:30 p.m., throughout the game, and one hour following the game. Please look for golf carts labeled “Disabled Shuttle.” There are no cart services inside the stadium.

If a person needs additional assistance, please contact a guest services representative inside the stadium.

Elevators

Elevators are only to be used by disabled guests and loft-level ticket holders. There is an elevator located near each main entrance for general ticket holders with disabilities and one at each club entrance for club level ticket holders with disabilities and for loft ticket holder.

Emergencies

Fans should record their section, row and seat numbers at home and office. If an emergency arises during the game, please call the Security Office at (623) 433–7156 with the seating information and a stadium staff member will be sent to that location. Per stadium policy, announcements will not be made over the public address systems to locate someone.

Escalators

The stadium is equipped with escalators located adjacent to the three public and two private entrances. The escalators located directly inside Gates 1 and 3 allow fans access to the club level and terrace concourse. The escalators located at Gate 2 provide fans direct access to the terrace concourse only. The escalators at the Gila River Club West and Insight Club East entrances are reserved for club and loft ticket holders and access the club level only. The escalators run in the upward direction through halftime and change to the downward direction during the second half to speed exiting at the conclusion of the game. Fans should never walk up or down a non-operational escalator.

There is an escalator/ramp tandem located at Gate 2. Both bring guests from the main concourse to the upper terrace with access points to the club and loft levels for those with appropriate tickets.

First Aid

The stadium has four first aid locations available to assist fans throughout the event. The first aid offices are located along the main concourse near sections 122 & 136 and terrace concourse near sections 416 & 448.

Guest Services

Inside Stadium: Guest Services locations are found along the main concourse near sections 104 (Gate 1) & 123 (Gate 2) and the upper concourse (sections 417 & 448). Please visit one of the four Guest Services locations for any needs you have during the game.

Outside Stadium: There are four Guest Services locations outside the stadium in the surrounding parking lots (see parking map on page 4 for exact locations). There are also Guest Services booths inside the pre-game parties.

Lost and Found

Please visit the Guest Services offices inside University of Phoenix Stadium. Claim forms are available to report missing items. Fans inquiring about lost items should call the University of Phoenix Stadium Security Office at (623) 433–7147 after the game. Lost and Found is located behind sections 104, 123, 417 and 448. Items lost are held in storage for 30 days and then donated to a local charity. University of Phoenix Stadium and the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items.

Merchandise

Merchandise stands are located throughout the stadium — 7 on the main concourse, 2 on the club level, and 1 on the upper concourse. All four major credit cards are accepted at merchandise stands. Fans may purchase the collectible game program at all main entrances outside the stadium and inside the stadium and at merchandise booths based on availability. The cost is $10 per program. Merchandise also may be purchased inside the pre-game parties and around the stadium, as well as at http://fiestabowl.teamfanshop.com

Pay Phones/TDD Phone

The stadium does not offer pay phones. However, fans can request the use of a phone at any of the four Guest Services locations. A TDD phone for hearing and speech-impaired fans is located at the Guest Services office next to Gate 1.

Re-Entry

Re-entry is not allowed.

Restrooms

There are 50 men’s, women’s and family restrooms located throughout University of Phoenix Stadium. All restrooms are ADA accessible and equipped with a baby-changing table. There also will be portable restrooms located around the stadium and inside the pre-game parties.

Roof

The roof will remain closed during the game in order to provide the most consistent playing conditions for participating teams. Please notice section regarding weather information.

Security

All fans are subject to security screening prior to entering the stadium, including a physical pat-down and inspection of all items brought inside the facility. Large strollers may be checked at the Guest Services office and umbrella-style strollers may be stored underneath a seat as long as it does not create an obstruction for other fans. The following lists detail permissible items and impermissible items inside the stadium. There are no lockers available outside the stadium to secure impermissible items nor can items be held by security staff members.

• Banners or signs no larger than 3’ x 2’

• Cameras without professional lenses and lenses smaller than eight inches

• Small umbrella strollers (must collapse and fit underneath seat)

• Strollers (must be checked at a Guest Services location)

• Limit of one (1) sealed, non-frozen bottle of water (no soda, flavored water or sports drinks), 16.9 (500ml) ounces or less, per person

• Any item deemed inappropriate or hazardous by stadium security

Skateboarding/Rollerblading

Skateboarding and rollerblading are not permitted within the stadium, Tillman Plaza or the parking lots. “Roller shoes” (athletic shoes with retractable wheels) also are not allowed.

Smoking

In accordance with the Smoke-Free Arizona Act, the stadium is a non-smoking facility. There are two designated smoking locations on the main concourse located outside Gate 2 and section 137. Fans on the club level, loft corridor and terrace level may access the designated smoking locations on the north ramp. Fans outside the stadium must be at least 20 feet away from any stadium entrance while smoking. Fans who do not comply with the smoking policy inside the stadium are subject to ejection.

Stay Healthy

It is cold and flu season. The Tostitos Fiesta Bowl encourages fans to use the hand sanitizers provided throughout the stadium.

Tailgating

Tailgating in the parking lots must be limited to the area directly in front or behind the vehicle. Tailgating in empty stalls is prohibited. Alcohol is not allowed on the lawn areas outside the stadium. Consumption of alcoholic beverages is legal only in designated tailgating areas and specific events sponsored by the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. Natural gas or propane grills are permitted in the parking areas; charcoal grills are not permitted. Fans are limited to preparing food for their family and friends. Private catering companies are not allowed in the parking area. The sale of food and beverages to other fans is not permitted. Sportsman’s Park and other parking areas close one (1) hour after the game. Tailgating activities are not allowed to resume after the game. Tailgating is not permitted on the lawns, including the Great Lawn. Glass containers are not permitted in any parking area or the lawns.

If you require assistance during your visit to University of Phoenix Stadium or wish to report violations of the Code of Conduct, stadium staff may be reached via text message. Text “Cards <SPACE> issue and location” to 57375.

Weather Information

U.S. Weather Service records indicate the Valley of the Sun enjoys sunshine 85 percent of the year, making it the sunniest resort area in the United States. Although summer temperatures routinely reach triple digits, the winter months are much cooler and January evenings are often chilly. When planning to attend this year’s Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, please remember to wear layered clothing and bring a coat. The sun is expected to set at approximately 5:30 p.m. (MST) on January 2, 2012. Therefore, while you may be experiencing a beautiful 66-degree day on your way to the stadium, temperatures could drop as low as 40 degrees before the game reaches halftime. Please keep in mind that while University of Phoenix Stadium has a roof, it does not have heat. Therefore, temperatures inside the stadium may be cooler than you might expect. There is a no re-entry policy in effect, so plan ahead before you enter the stadium.

View Weather Conditions

Weapons

Fans are not permitted to bring firearms or any other weapons inside the stadium. In accordance with Arizona House Bill 2457, law enforcement officials attending the event are permitted to bring a firearm inside the stadium if he/ she is in compliance with the Arizona peace officer standards and training board requirements.

Where do I buy disposable cameras, band-aids, etc?

There are no convenience stores in the immediate area surrounding University of Phoenix Stadium to purchase everyday items. The closest retail establishments are Cabela’s Outdoor Outfitters on the north side of Glendale Avenue and Westgate City Center. Both are located north of University of Phoenix Stadium.
