Million Dollar Hole-in-One, October 31 - November 10 2013, Arizona Biltmore Golf Club, Phoenix

For just $1 a shot, more than 1,000 golfers of varying skill levels aim for a hole-in-one on a 125-yard hole. The top finishers each day receive fabulous prizes and the top three daily finishers, including anyone who nails a hole-in-one, advance to the finals for a shot at the $1 million hole. A portion of the proceeds benefit The 100 Club, supporting families of police officers and firefighters when tragedy strikes. Volunteers are needed to assist with various aspects of the event from registration, platform and green monitoring and shuttle driving. Shifts are four hours long and may require light to moderate lifting, long hours on foot and possible exposure to weather conditions.

Aerospace Challenge, February 4-6, 2013, Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus, Mesa

As one of Arizona’s premier academic contests for youth, the Aerospace Challenge is designed to enhance knowledge of space technology for fifth through eighth grade students. Participants are required to develop plans for an international lunar base complete with a physical scale model. Child-friendly volunteers are needed to perform various duties including set-up, registration and area supervision. Shifts vary from two to six hours with some requiring long hours on foot.

West Valley Youth Football Clinic, February 16, 2013, Glendale Youth Sports Complex, Glendale; East Valley Youth Football Clinic, February 17, 2013, Benedict Sports Complex, Tempe

Boys and girls, ages 9 - 14, are invited to participate in this free non-contact clinic lead by trained athletes and experienced coaches. Volunteers are needed to perform various duties including set-up, registration, food and gift distribution, and clean-up. Shift is approximately six and half hours and may require light to moderate lifting, long hours on foot and possible exposure to weather conditions.

Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl Guest Services, December 29, 2012, Sun Devil Stadium, Tempe

Energetic and friendly volunteers with a working knowledge of Tempe and Sun Devil Stadium are needed to staff information booths. Shifts are four hours long and require long hours on foot and possible exposure to weather conditions.

Buffalo Wild Wings Tablegate, December 29, 2012, Arizona State University Lot 3, Tempe

Buffalo Wild Wings Tablegate is an action-packed pregame party that provides the ultimate tailgate experience. Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl fans gear up for the big game while enjoying performances by the university marching bands and cheerleaders, jumbotrons, interactive games, and food and beverage booths. Volunteers are needed for set-up, operations, roamers, tear-down, etc. Shift is approximately six hours long and some may require moderate to heavy lifting, long hours on foot and possible exposure to weather conditions.

Band Championship, December 30, 2012, University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale

Preliminaries begin at 9:00 a.m. and Finals will begin at 2:00 p.m.
A long-standing Fiesta Bowl tradition that has distinguished itself as one of the most prestigious high school marching band competitions in the country. The nation’s top high school bands are invited to compete for the distinguished Grand Master’s Trophy by performing thrilling field shows. Volunteers are needed to perform various duties including maintenance, guest services, merchandise table, etc. Shifts vary from three to five hours and may require light to moderate lifting, long hours on foot and possible exposure to weather conditions.

Parade, December 29, 2012, Central Phoenix

This time-honored Valley tradition and Arizona’s largest single-day spectator event features a dazzling array of colorful floats, magnificent helium balloons, harmonious marching bands and spirited specialty and equestrian units. Thousands of spectators annually line the two-mile parade route in central Phoenix to witness this fantastic celebration. Volunteers are needed as marshals, drivers, balloon handlers and much more. Shifts vary from four to eight hours and may require light to moderate lifting, long hours on foot and possible exposure to weather conditions.

Fiesta Bowl Guest Services, January 3, 2013, University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale

Energetic and friendly volunteers with a working knowledge of the Valley are needed to staff various information booths surrounding the stadium. Shifts are approximately four hours long and require long hours on foot and possible exposure to weather conditions.

College Football’s Biggest Party, January 3, 2013, University of Phoenix Stadium North Orange Lot, Glendale

Annually attracting tens of thousands of fans, College Football’s Biggest Party is an action-packed celebration full of the ultimate tailgate experience. Excited sports fanatics gear-up for the Fiesta Bowl while enjoying pep rallies, performances by the university marching bands, cheerleaders and interactive games. As a volunteer you have the opportunity to assist with entertainment, food and beverages, operations and much more. Shifts vary from four to eight hours and may require moderate to heavy lifting, long hours on foot and possible exposure to weather conditions.

Stadium Club, January 3, 2013, University of Phoenix Stadium Great Lawn, Glendale

On game day, fans are invited to enjoy the college football festivities from an exclusive area located outside University of Phoenix Stadium. This upgraded tailgate features big screen televisions, musical entertainment and a wonderful pregame meal. As a volunteer you have the opportunity to assist with entertainment, food and beverages, operations and much more. Shifts vary from four to eight hours and may require moderate to heavy lifting, long hours on foot and possible exposure to weather conditions.
