Annual Youth Football Clinic Teaches More Than Football Skills
Scottsdale, Ariz. – More than 300 area youth will gather at the Glendale Youth Sports Complex on Saturday, Dec. 18 to learn what it takes to become great athletes.
The CIGNA Healthcare Fiesta Bowl Youth Football Clinic presented by NCAA Football annually invites boys and girls, ages 9 - 14, to participate in free, non-contact drills led by trained athletes and experienced coaches.
This year, the clinic will also feature proper warm-up techniques, speed and agility drills, and nutrition education thanks to a new partnership with Athletes’ Performance. The elite training facility works with amateur and professional athletes to efficiently and ethically enhance performance.
Former NFL offensive guard Derrick Kennard will wrap up the clinic by explaining the importance of discipline and perseverance for success both on and off the field.
An increasingly popular event, the clinic filled up one day after opening registration. The event will be held at the Glendale Youth Sports Complex in Glendale, Ariz. from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
