Fiesta Bowl Hosts Inaugural Kickoff Luncheon

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Pac-12 Conference Commissioner Larry Scott and Big 12 Conference Commissioner Bob Bowlsby will appear at the inaugural Fiesta Bowl Kickoff Luncheon on Thursday, Aug. 29 at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort & Spa.

On the day the 2013-14 college football season opens, the commissioners give their views on a wide range of topics, including the upcoming College Football Playoff. In addition, the program will highlight the Fiesta Bowl founders and Fiesta Bowl Charities, and set the stage for this season’s Valley bowl games – the 43rd Annual Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and the 25th Annual Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl. Beginning after the 2014 season, the Pac-12 and Big 12 will meet annually in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, hosted at ASU’s Sun Devil Stadium.

“College football season is finally here, and this luncheon is a great way to celebrate it,” said Brian Hall, Fiesta Bowl Chairman of the Board. “This is a program that football fans won’t want to miss.”

Single tickets are $50 and tables of 10 are $1,000. The Fiesta Bowl is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and a portion of a table sponsorship is tax-deductible.
