SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Starting Thursday, thousands of resident and visiting golfers will head to the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix to take a shot at $1 million.

The preliminary rounds for the 26th Annual Fiesta Bowl Million Dollar Hole-in-One presented by Fox Sports tee-off on Nov. 4 and end on Nov.14.

For only $1 a shot, more than 1,000 golfers of varying skill levels will aim for a hole-in-one on a 125-yard hole. The top finishers each day receive prizes including PING irons and golf bags, complimentary foursomes at the Valley’s best golf courses and certificates for Arizona’s finest restaurants.

The 10-day event for amateur golfers will be held at the Arizona Biltmore driving range. Daily rounds run from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. to noon on Nov. 14. The final round will take place on Nov. 14 at 2:00 p.m.

The top three daily finishers, including anyone who nails a hole-in-one, advance to the finals for a shot at the $1 million hole or three highly-coveted grand prizes. In 2002, Ray Mills of Phoenix, Ariz., was the first and only golfer to ever hit the million dollar hole-in-one. Mills returns to the event each year to try his luck.
